Role Description The Sales Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata, Siliguri & Durgapur responsible for engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and recommending suitable products or services. Daily activities include managing inquiries, presenting product information, explaining pricing, and supporting customers through the sales process. The role involves maintaining accurate sales records, following up on leads and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction. The Sales Associate is also expected to participate in promotional activities, maintain a clean and organized sales environment, and provide feedback on customer trends to support business decisions. This position requires consistent in-person interaction and a professional, customer-oriented approach.
Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse customers and colleagues.
Basic sales and customer service skills, including the ability to handle inquiries, resolve concerns, and build rapport.
Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
Comfort with learning product or service details and explaining features and benefits clearly.
Proficiency with basic computer applications and point-of-sale or CRM systems is an advantage.
Prior experience in retail or field sales is preferred but not mandatory.
Minimum educational qualification: Graduate or equivalent; higher education in business or commerce is a plus.
Willingness to work on-site in Kolkata, Durgapur & Siliguri and maintain a professional, inclusive, and respectful attitude at all times.
