Lead Software Engineer - .NET

We are hiring a Lead Software Engineer to shape and deliver modern full-stack products using .NET, Microsoft Azure, and ReactJS. Responsibilities
Architect scalable full-stack solutions leveraging .NET, Microsoft Azure, and ReactJS
Lead technical delivery for user stories from estimation through implementation and deployment
Partner with stakeholders to capture business needs and convert them into technical requirements
Produce technical artifacts and documentation to support solution design and development
Mentor engineers throughout the software development lifecycle and uphold engineering standards
Embed AI-native practices into the software development lifecycle and team routines
Implement agentic solutions using Microsoft AI tools
Build and maintain backend services, including SQL-based data solutions and Microsoft SQL Server
Use Microsoft Azure services such as Functions and Durable Functions to deliver cloud-based solutions
Requirements
Extensive full-stack experience (9+ years) delivering solutions with .NET, Microsoft Azure, and React
Strong backend engineering background, including SQL and Microsoft SQL Server
Proven capability in architectural design and end-to-end solution planning
Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing stakeholder communication across delivery phases
Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including Functions and Durable Functions
Solid familiarity with AI SDLC practices and ways of working
Clear understanding of agentic solution implementation using Microsoft tools
Nice to have
Knowledge of the Insurance value chain from submission through policy issuance, including quoting and binding
Familiarity with Excess specialty products such as Excess Casualty, Professional Liability, Medical Liability, Products, and Contractors
Background in Actuarial reserving
