Software Engineer (Python developmenet and testing)

We’re looking for a hands-on Software Engineer III to join our engineering team and contribute to API Management (APIM) and Platform Configuration Services (PCS).
This role offers an opportunity to work across backend development, API validation, Python automation, and CI/CD pipelines, helping build reliable services and ensuring smoother, more confident releases.
What You'll Be Working On
Design, develop, and maintain backend services, REST APIs, and automation utilities.
Build robust test automation using Python and PyTest.
Integrate automation suites into GitLab CI/CD pipelines for smoke, regression, and release validation.
Validate API contracts, authentication, service health, logging, and performance.
Troubleshoot issues across applications, services, environments, and deployment pipelines.
Collaborate with engineering teams to improve API quality, reliability, and release readiness.
What We're Looking For
- Strong hands-on backend development experience in Python, Go, Node.js, or similar languages.
- Solid experience with Python and PyTest automation.-Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON contracts, and API validation.
- Working knowledge of GitLab CI/CD and automated release validation.
- Strong debugging skills and a software engineering mindset.
