About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Sourcing Associate to support product development, vendor coordination, costing, and production planning. The role involves working closely with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely approvals, production readiness, and on-time shipments.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the sample development process from initial prototypes to final pre-production (PP) approval.
Coordinate with vendors on costing, negotiations, and cost optimisation alternatives.
Ensure all required approvals are secured before order confirmation.
Work with category, planning, and vendor teams to plan production capacity based on projections.
Coordinate pre-production activities and track production timelines to ensure on-time shipments.
Conduct regular follow-ups with vendors to identify bottlenecks and resolve production delays.
Track product development performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
Maintain accurate fabric, garment, and trims approval reports in coordination with internal teams.
Coordinate fabric offer programmes with the raw materials team.
What You Need to Succeed
2–4 years of experience in sourcing or merchandising, preferably with a brand, buying office, or large-scale manufacturing facility.
A B.Tech degree
Knowledge of knits, wovens, and sweaters; experience in athleisure product development and production is preferred.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data analysis, charts, and working with multiple systems and reports.
Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to follow structured processes.
Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and adapt to changing business requirements.
