Human Resources Director

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Director HR – India to lead the complete HR function for the India organisation and partner closely with business and global leadership.
The successful candidate will be expected to operate as both a strategic HR business partner and a hands-on HR leader, adapting priorities based on business requirements, hiring cycles, employee needs and organisational priorities.

What We Are Looking For
15 years of progressive HR experience, with significant experience in a senior HR leadership / HRBP role.
Strong experience across end-to-end HR, rather than a specialist background in one HR function.
Demonstrated experience in Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partnering, Talent Management, Employee Relations, HR Operations, Payroll, Compliance and HR Governance.
Experience leading and developing an HR team.
Strong business partnering capability with exposure to senior leadership / C-suite stakeholders.
Experience working with global / US-based stakeholders in a matrix environment.
Strong understanding of Indian employment practices, labour regulations and statutory requirements.
Experience supporting technology, SaaS, fintech, product, engineering or other high-growth environments would be relevant.
Strong problem-solving ability and the confidence to operate in situations where priorities can change quickly.
A hands-on, entrepreneurial and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to balance strategic thinking with execution.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
The role therefore requires a well-rounded HR leader who can take ownership, make sound decisions and work closely with business leaders to solve people challenges.
