About the Role
We are looking for a Lead Network Architect to serve as the enterprise design authority for network platforms across a large-scale, complex technology environment. This is a senior individual contributor and technical leadership role that combines deep hands-on expertise with strategic architectural judgment — defining standards, governing technology decisions, and driving modernisation across LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, and network security domains.
What You Will Do
You will own the enterprise network architecture — defining principles, reference designs, and multi-year technology roadmaps while translating business and security requirements into scalable, resilient, and highly available solutions. You will lead architecture review boards, drive technology lifecycle decisions, and act as the highest-level escalation point for critical network incidents and root cause analysis.
On the engineering side, you will architect high-availability solutions across campus, branch, data centre, WAN, and wireless environments using Cisco and Aruba platforms, own routing governance across OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP, and define design requirements for redundancy, segmentation, quality of service, and disaster recovery. You will also govern vulnerability management programs, drive network automation and scripting initiatives, and set direction for enterprise-wide monitoring and observability using SolarWinds and related platforms.
Beyond the technical, you will present architecture risks and recommendations to senior stakeholders, mentor architects and engineers, and partner with vendors and service providers on roadmap alignment and solution strategy.
What We Are Looking For
15+ years of progressive experience designing and architecting enterprise-scale network environments
Proven ownership of enterprise architecture standards, reference designs, and technology roadmaps
Advanced expertise in Cisco switching, routing, wireless, and SD-WAN platforms
Deep knowledge of Aruba wireless architecture, design, capacity planning, and optimisation
Strong command of OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP in large-scale, highly available environments
Experience with vulnerability management platforms such as Rapid7, Nessus, or Qualys
Proficiency with enterprise monitoring tools including SolarWinds, PRTG, and Fluke
Working knowledge of network automation, scripting, and configuration management frameworks
Ability to lead critical incident resolution, drive root cause analysis, and communicate complex designs to technical and non-technical stakeholders
