JOB DESCRIPTION: OPERATIONAL ANALYST
Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to collect, process, analyze, and interpret data to generate meaningful insights. The candidate will be responsible for developing dashboards, preparing reports, identifying trends and patterns, and supporting data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI, and the ability to present complex information in a clear and understandable manner.
Key Responsibilities
· Collect, clean, validate, and organize data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
· Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
· Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Microsoft Power BI.
· Prepare regular reports and performance summaries to support informed decision-making.
· Use Advanced Microsoft Excel for data analysis, calculations, data manipulation, and reporting.
· Create and maintain data models, dashboards, and standardized reporting formats.
· Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze performance against defined targets.
· Translate complex data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
· Identify data quality issues and recommend appropriate corrective measures.
· Automate repetitive reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver relevant analytical reports.
· Maintain proper documentation of data sources, analytical methods, and reporting processes.
Required Technical Skills
· Microsoft Power BI: Dashboard creation, data visualization, data modeling, DAX, and Power Query.
· Advanced Microsoft Excel: PivotTables, lookup functions, conditional formulas, charts, and data analysis.
· Data Analysis: Data interpretation, trend analysis, data validation, and problem-solving.
· SQL: Basic to intermediate knowledge of queries, joins, filtering, and data extraction.
· Reporting & Visualization: Ability to present data through clear, meaningful, and interactive reports.
· Data Management: Knowledge of data cleaning, data transformation, and data accuracy.
