Role Description
This is a full-time Backend Developer (Node.js) position based on-site in Delhi, India. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js, ensuring reliability, performance, and security. Responsibilities include integrating front-end components, working with databases, writing clean and maintainable code, and implementing best practices for software development. The Backend Developer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of system architecture and development workflows.
Qualifications
Strong Back-End Web Development skills with hands-on experience building RESTful APIs and microservices using Node.js, Express and MongoDB
Solid Software Development foundations, including familiarity with software design patterns, testing practices, and version control (e.g., Git).
Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Programming fundamentals, with clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Basic understanding of Front-End Development concepts to effectively integrate and support front-end teams.
Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL), performance optimization, and application security best practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment, communicate clearly, and manage tasks independently.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker), or CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
