Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Consultant – Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) with strong expertise in AEM Sites, AEM Assets (DAM), and AEM Cloud Service migration.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable AEM solutions, supporting enterprise AEM implementations, and leading migration initiatives from AEM On-Premise/AMS to AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS).
The candidate should have strong technical and consulting skills and be comfortable working with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
AEM Sites
Design and implement enterprise-grade solutions using AEM Sites.
Develop reusable AEM components, templates, dialogs, and content structures.
Strong experience with Editable Templates, Core Components, Sling Models, OSGi, HTL, and Servlets.
Work with AEM Content Fragments and Experience Fragments.
Implement headless/content-driven solutions using AEM Content Fragments and GraphQL.
Configure and optimize AEM authoring and publishing environments.
Troubleshoot performance, scalability, and production issues.
AEM Assets / DAM
Strong hands-on experience with AEM Assets / Digital Asset Management (DAM).
Design and implement DAM folder structures, metadata schemas, tagging, workflows, and asset governance.
Experience with Asset Compute Service, Dynamic Media, and asset processing.
Configure asset workflows and metadata automation.
Experience integrating AEM Assets with external systems and enterprise applications.
Understanding of asset migration strategies and best practices.
AEM Cloud Migration
Lead or participate in migration projects from AEM 6.x On-Premise/AMS to AEM as a Cloud Service.
Assess existing AEM implementations and identify cloud migration gaps.
Perform code and repository assessment using AEM Modernizer, Best Practices Analyzer (BPA), and Repository Modernizer.
Refactor legacy/custom AEM implementations to comply with AEMaaCS architecture.
Support content, assets, code, configurations, and workflow migration.
Experience with Content Transfer Tool (CTT) and migration utilities.
Identify deprecated APIs, unsupported configurations, and legacy customizations.
Implement cloud-ready OSGi configurations and deployment structures.
Support CI/CD implementation and deployment using Adobe Cloud Manager.
Troubleshoot issues during development, testing, and production migration.
Technical Architecture & Consulting
Translate business requirements into scalable AEM technical solutions.
Participate in architecture discussions and provide technical recommendations.
Review existing implementations and recommend improvements.
Conduct technical design and code reviews.
Mentor junior and mid-level AEM developers.
Work closely with Solution Architects, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and client stakeholders.
Prepare technical documentation, solution designs, and implementation guidelines.
Integration & Development
Experience integrating AEM with external applications and enterprise systems.
Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, JSON, and third-party integrations.
Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud integrations is an advantage.
Knowledge of Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Experience Platform, or Adobe Journey Optimizer is a plus.
