Software Test Engineer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Software Test Engineer role based in Chennai. The Software Test Engineer will design, document, and execute test cases to validate functionality, performance, and reliability of software applications. The role involves collaborating with developers and product teams to understand requirements, identify defects, and ensure timely resolution. The engineer will perform manual and automated testing, support regression and integration testing cycles, and maintain clear test documentation and reports. The position also includes contributing to continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and quality standards across projects.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Software Testing, Test Execution, and Testing.
Candidates should possess strong skills in designing, reviewing, and maintaining Test Cases.
Candidates should possess foundational skills in Software Development to understand application architecture and workflows.
Experience with test management tools, defect tracking systems, and version control platforms.
Knowledge of automation frameworks and scripting languages is an advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and work in an on-site environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
