About ConvertPolo
ConvertPolo helps eCommerce, D2C, and lead generation businesses turn more visitors into customers through research, data analysis, UX improvements, and experimentation. We work across the CRO process—from identifying opportunities to designing, developing, and evaluating A/B tests.
About the role
We’re looking for an analytical, curious intern who enjoys working with data and exploring how AI can improve everyday work.
You’ll help our CRO team understand customer behaviour, identify conversion opportunities, and evaluate experiments. You’ll also help build and document AI workflows that make research, analysis, and reporting more efficient.
This role combines hands-on analysis with practical AI implementation, with guidance from the team.
What you’ll work on
Conversion data analysis
Analyse website funnels, product pages, landing pages, and checkout journeys to identify conversion drop-offs.
Segment performance by device, traffic source, customer type, and product category.
Track metrics such as conversion rate, add-to-cart rate, checkout completion, average order value, and revenue per visitor.
Support A/B test reporting by checking data, comparing variations, and summarising findings.
Review heatmaps, session recordings, surveys, and customer feedback to explain the behaviour behind the numbers.
Turn findings into clear observations and testable hypotheses for the CRO team.
AI enablement
Identify recurring tasks where AI can save time or improve output quality.
Help create reusable prompts and workflows for research, feedback analysis, hypothesis development, and reporting.
Support simple automations connecting spreadsheets, documents, and other team tools.
Validate AI outputs against source data, checking calculations, claims, and conclusions.
Document working processes and help teammates adopt them.
Follow client confidentiality and data-handling requirements when using AI tools.
What we’re looking for
A student or recent graduate in analytics, statistics, economics, engineering, business, or a related field. Relevant projects matter more than your degree.
Comfort with Excel or Google Sheets, including formulas, pivot tables, charts, and data cleaning.
Basic understanding of percentages, averages, sample sizes, and the difference between correlation and causation.
Hands-on familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to explain findings clearly.
Curiosity about ecommerce, customer behaviour, and experimentation.
Ownership, willingness to learn, and comfort asking questions when something is unclear.
Good to have
You don’t need to know every tool before joining. Exposure to any of these is a plus:
Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, or Looker Studio.
Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, VWO, or similar analytics and experimentation tools.
SQL or Python for data analysis.
Make, Zapier, or n8n for workflow automation.
Personal projects involving dashboards, website analysis, or AI workflows.
What success looks like
Accurate, clearly structured analysis with traceable sources.
Useful insights and hypotheses supported by evidence.
Timely reports that distinguish observations from assumptions.
AI workflows that demonstrably save time while maintaining quality.
Clear documentation that others can follow.
What you’ll gain
Hands-on exposure to live CRO projects and ecommerce businesses.
Experience connecting customer behaviour, business metrics, and experimentation.
Guidance from CRO practitioners and opportunities to present your findings.
Practical experience building and validating AI workflows.
