We are looking for an SDET who can build confidence in platform at scale, not just automate tests.
Role Summary
As an SDET at Fastcurve, you will own quality engineering across web, APIs, integrations, cloud platforms, and modern distributed systems. You will design automation frameworks, improve release confidence, enable CI/CD quality gates, and contribute to scalable test architecture.
As our platforms evolve toward AI-native and agentic architectures, exposure to testing AI workflows, MCP integrations, agents, and autonomous orchestration is considered an advantage.
This is a hands-on engineering role.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks across UI, API, integration, and system layers
Define quality strategy for modern application architectures including microservices, event-driven systems, and cloud-native applications
Build automated validation into CI/CD pipelines and release processes
Improve reliability, observability, and production confidence through metrics and quality engineering practices
Create reusable test utilities, mocks, simulators, and data strategies
Drive API, contract, regression, integration, and non-functional testing
Work closely with developers, architects, product managers, and business teams to prevent defects early
Review application architecture and identify quality, reliability, and scalability risks
Use AI-assisted engineering tools to improve test design, automation productivity, and analysis
Contribute to quality standards, engineering practices, and mentoring
Must Have Skills
Engineering & Testing
Strong programming experience in Java or Python or Javascript
Strong automation experience with anyone, Selenium or Playwright or Cypress, depth matters more than tool choice
API automation using REST and GraphQL
Web & Mobile Apps testing
Experience with automation frameworks and test architecture design
Strong debugging and root cause analysis skills
SQL and data validation expertise
Experience testing distributed applications
Experience testing third party integrations
Platform & Delivery
CI/CD experience using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar
Docker and containerized testing
Experience with cloud environments, AWS preferred
Understanding of observability, logs, metrics, and tracing
Performance and reliability testing fundamentals

Exposure to event-driven and autonomous workflow systems
