Senior Manager - SAP Solution Architect

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced SAP Solution Architect to lead the design, implementation, and governance of our SAP S/4HANA landscape, with a strong focus on Finance, enterprise integrations, banking solutions, and process automation.
The role will be responsible for building scalable and secure SAP architecture, integrating SAP with in-house applications and third-party platforms, and driving automation across finance operations. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance, hands-on experience with banking integrations, and the ability to collaborate closely with Finance, Product, Engineering, Data, Security, and external implementation partners in a high-volume, fast-paced business environment.
Key Responsibilities
Own end-to-end solution architecture for SAP S/4HANA, ensuring alignment with business requirements, technology strategy, scalability, and performance.
Design and govern integrations between SAP S/4HANA and internal applications using APIs, IDocs, OData, REST/SOAP web services, and middleware platforms.
Architect and optimize SAP Finance processes across Financial Accounting (FI), Asset Accounting (AA), General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Bank Accounting.
Lead the architecture and implementation of automated invoice processing solutions to improve accuracy, scalability, and operational efficiency.
Design and support Host-to-Host (H2H) banking integrations for payment processing, bank statement automation, electronic bank reconciliation, and treasury operations.
Drive Supply Chain Finance (SCF) integrations with banking partners and financial institutions.
Ensure secure, reliable, and compliant integrations with external banking systems, payment platforms, and financial service providers.
Review and approve functional and technical solution designs developed by internal teams and implementation partners.
Define architecture standards, integration patterns, technical governance frameworks, and best practices across SAP and connected enterprise applications.
Partner with Finance, Product, Engineering, Data, and Security teams to translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions.
Lead solution design for new finance initiatives, business process transformations, acquisitions, and regulatory changes.
Drive SAP upgrades, release planning, and transformation initiatives while ensuring business continuity and minimizing operational disruption.
Identify opportunities to automate finance workflows, reduce manual interventions, improve reconciliation efficiency, and optimize system performance.
Ensure adherence to information security, financial controls, audit, compliance, and internal governance requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of SAP experience, with 3–5 years in Solution Architecture.
Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation, design, and support.
Deep knowledge of SAP FI, AA, GL, AP, AR, and Bank Accounting.
Experience integrating SAP with internal and third-party applications using APIs, IDocs, OData, REST/SOAP, and middleware platforms such as SAP PI/PO, Integration Suite, MuleSoft, or Boomi.
Proven experience in invoice automation, H2H banking integrations, payment processing, bank reconciliation, and Supply Chain Finance (SCF).
Strong understanding of financial controls, audit, security, and compliance.
Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Quick Commerce, E-commerce, Retail, FMCG, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
Exposure to high-volume transactions, SAP Fiori, SAP BTP, and cloud integration platforms.
Knowledge of finance workflow automation and document management solutions.
SAP S/4HANA certification preferred.
