Role Description The Senior Financial Analyst will provide expert financial analysis and guidance to support RIQS’s strategic and operational decisions. This part-time remote role involves preparing and reviewing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts, and analyzing trends in revenue, costs, and project-related expenditures. The Senior Financial Analyst will collaborate with leadership to optimize financial planning, enhance cost control, and align financial strategies with the institute’s goals. The role will also include developing financial insights for board presentations, advising on resource allocation, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial policies and regulations.
Qualifications
Strong Finance and Financial Reporting skills, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
Advanced Analytical Skills and Financial Planning capabilities to interpret data, model scenarios, and support strategic decisions.
Effective Communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in financial analysis tools and spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel or similar), and familiarity with accounting systems.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is an advantage.
Experience in the non-profit, professional association, or construction/quantity surveying sector is beneficial.
Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote, part-time capacity and manage multiple priorities responsibly.
