The Role
We are seeking an experienced Internal Audit Trainer / CIA Specialist to deliver professional training in internal auditing, risk assessment, internal controls, and governance practices. Explain audit planning, risk assessment, audit testing, evidence gathering, documentation, and reporting techniques.
Demonstrate how to evaluate control design and operating effectiveness and identify potential control weaknesses.
Use practical case studies to illustrate fraud risks, compliance issues, operational risks, and audit recommendations.
Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback to strengthen technical understanding and examination readiness.
Keep course materials aligned with relevant CIA syllabus updates and recognized internal auditing standards.
Share practical insights on audit communication, stakeholder management, professional ethics, and follow-up procedures.
Maintain organized training records and adapt teaching methods to different learner needs and experience levels.
Requirements
3+ years of professional experience in internal audit, risk management, compliance, internal controls, or audit training preferred.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline preferred.
CIA certification is strongly preferred; equivalent internal audit qualifications and relevant practical experience are an advantage.

Previous experience in tutoring, corporate training, mentoring, or professional education is an advantage.
Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and instructional skills.
Ability to explain complex audit concepts using clear examples and practical scenarios.
High standards of integrity, confidentiality, and professional judgment.
Ability to deliver engaging online sessions and manage training responsibilities independently.
