👨 💻 Role: Security Architect – Secure by Design
We are looking for an experienced Security Architect to define and implement security architecture across applications, cloud environments, infrastructure, and enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will help embed security throughout the product development lifecycle.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
Define security architecture principles, standards, policies, and reusable design patterns.
Review application, API, cloud, infrastructure, and system architectures to identify security risks.
Conduct threat modeling, security risk assessments, and architecture reviews.
Recommend security controls to mitigate vulnerabilities and reduce attack surfaces.
Collaborate with development, product, DevOps, infrastructure, and operations teams to implement security by design.
Assess the security implications of new technologies, integrations, and third-party services.
Support secure development practices, security testing, and release approval processes.
Assist with audits, compliance assessments, and security governance activities.
Document architecture decisions, security requirements, and remediation recommendations.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams.
✅ Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security architecture, application security, or a related field.
Strong understanding of threat modeling, risk assessment, and secure system design.
Experience reviewing application, API, cloud, infrastructure, and distributed-system architectures.
Knowledge of identity and access management, authentication, authorization, and security controls.
Ability to translate security risks into practical and scalable technical solutions.
Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
CISSP, CCSP, SABSA, or equivalent security certification is an advantage.
