Role Description The Procurement Officer is a full-time role responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing and procurement activities to support HNW’s hygiene and water treatment operations. This is a hybrid role based in Greater Noida Omicron, with a combination of on-site presence and some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include sourcing suppliers, requesting and evaluating quotes, preparing and processing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services. The role involves negotiating contracts and terms, monitoring vendor performance, maintaining accurate procurement records, and collaborating with finance, operations, and technical teams to align purchasing decisions with project needs and budgets. The Procurement Officer will also analyze purchasing data, optimize cost and quality, support inventory planning, and contribute to continuous improvement in procurement processes.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Procurement and Purchasing to manage sourcing, supplier relationships, and material planning.
Candidates should possess solid experience with Purchase Orders to handle requisitions, approvals, documentation, and order tracking.
Candidates should possess Contract Negotiation skills to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service levels with vendors.
Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to assess quotations, compare vendor performance, and support data-driven decision-making.
Relevant bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field.
Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or water treatment sectors is an advantage.
Proficiency with ERP or procurement software and strong MS Excel skills.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accurate records and documentation.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and ethical sourcing practices.
