Role Description The Research Assistant is a full-time remote role responsible for supporting consulting projects with accurate and timely research and analysis. In this position, the individual will gather and evaluate data on market trends, competitors, and client industries to inform business development strategies. Daily tasks include conducting structured and exploratory research, organizing data sets, preparing summaries and reports, and collaborating with consultants to translate findings into practical recommendations. The Research Assistant will also help maintain research databases, ensure data quality, and contribute to presentations and documents used in client engagements.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and Data Analysis abilities to interpret information and draw clear, evidence-based conclusions.
Candidates should possess solid Research skills to design research approaches, gather relevant information, and synthesize findings for business use.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to present research outcomes clearly in written reports and discussions with team members.
Candidates should possess applicable Laboratory Skills where relevant, including handling data collection tools and adhering to research protocols.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Social Sciences, or a related field; advanced coursework or a higher degree is an advantage.
Proficiency with spreadsheets, presentation tools, and common data analysis software; familiarity with market research tools is beneficial.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
Interest in SME business development and consulting; prior internship or project experience in research or consulting is a plus.
