Role Overview
As a Mammography Tech, you will play a vital role in performing radiologic breast imaging procedures under the direction of a Radiologist. Your work directly supports physicians in evaluating pathological entities, contributing to early detection and treatment. This role is essential in ensuring patient safety and accuracy in diagnostic imaging, making a significant impact on patient care and outcomes.

What You Will Do
Perform radiologic breast imaging procedures as ordered by a physician.
Utilize independent judgment to determine appropriate radiographic techniques and positioning.
Ensure adherence to department protocols and safety practices.
Maintain compliance with Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and other regulatory requirements.
Complete required hours of continued medical education to stay current with industry standards.
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and the advanced registry in Mammography, ARRT (M) (or registry eligible).
If registry eligible, must obtain registry within 12 months of hire date.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in mammography or breast imaging.
Familiarity with MQSA and regulatory compliance.
