About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Quality Assurance professional to join BlackRock's dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of Salesforce applications and integrations that support critical business functions. Your expertise will help identify risks early in the development process, design comprehensive test strategies, and execute testing across various Salesforce features such as flows, validations, security configurations, and integrations. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of our Salesforce environment, particularly focusing on a key integration between Salesforce and an external MySQL-based system. This position requires a detail-oriented mindset, strong technical knowledge, and a passion for continuous improvement through automation and collaborative testing practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in software testing, with a strong preference for experience in Salesforce application testing.
Deep understanding of Apex, Salesforce automations such as Flows and Triggers, and Apex Jobs.
Proficiency in Salesforce query languages (SOQL and SOSL) and API technologies including SOAP and REST.
Extensive experience in integration testing, data validation, and regression testing.
Familiarity with object-oriented programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java.
Knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases like MySQL.
Experience supporting multi-org Salesforce environments in fast-paced operational settings.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders.
Certifications related to quality assurance or Salesforce (preferred but not mandatory).
Responsibilities
Develop and execute detailed test plans specifically tailored to Salesforce functionalities, including Flows, Triggers, and Apex Jobs.
Conduct comprehensive testing such as integration, API, regression, and functional testing, ensuring data accuracy and system reliability.
Focus on the seamless integration between Salesforce and external systems utilizing MySQL databases, emphasizing data synchronization and event-driven architecture testing.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Copado Robotic Testing tooling, enhancing testing efficiency and coverage.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to gather testing requirements and understand complex business processes.
Improve documentation and testing workflows, ensuring clarity and consistency across teams.
Communicate testing progress, issues, and resolutions effectively to stakeholders, maintaining transparency and accountability.
Support the management of multi-org Salesforce setups in a fast-paced environment, ensuring stability and performance.
Perform additional testing-related tasks as required, aligning with organizational goals and quality standards.
