Plant Head – Birgunj, Nepal | Hulas Group (Hulas Iron & Hulas Infra)
Hulas Group is bringing its Birgunj plants under one senior operator. We are hiring a Plant Head to run two units as one operation:
- Hulas Iron: wire drawing, GI wire, barbed and binding wire, nails, and ERW/GI pipe
- Hulas Infra: fabrication of transmission towers, monopoles, poles, crash barriers and PEB structures, plus hot-dip structure galvanizing
You will report to the CEO.
What you will do
- Own output, conversion cost, quality, safety and people across both units, with a P&L view of each
- Cut zinc consumption per tonne in every galvanizing step: GI wire, GI pipe and structures
- Lead the division heads and a workforce of 300+, including contract labour, through a daily shift review
- Deliver towers and monopoles that pass utility, third-party and export inspection first time
- Run the plant on data: output, yield, zinc kg/t, downtime, dispatch and safety, every day
- Plan capacity, kettle life, maintenance and capex, and deliver it
How you will be measured
Zinc kg per tonne, conversion cost per tonne, output against plan, yield, first-time inspection clearance, on-time dispatch and safety (LTIFR, zero major incidents).
What you bring
- B.E./B.Tech in mechanical, metallurgical, production or chemical engineering
- 15+ years in steel manufacturing, including hot-dip galvanizing plus fabrication, wire or ERW pipe
- 5+ years as plant head, unit head or GM, with full operating or P&L accountability
- A proven record of reducing zinc consumption and conversion cost, with numbers
- Transmission tower, monopole or pole experience, ideally for export customers under daily inspection
- A background in India's tower, pole, wire or pipe industry is a strong advantage
Location: Birgunj, Nepal, close to the Raxaul border. Relocation support is provided.
