Job Description
Our Vision
Integration Charter Schools is dedicated to providing innovative pathways to college that fully integrate students living with emotional challenges and others with special needs. Our vision is to reimagine what public education can be: a place where schools serve not only as centers of learning, but as hubs of opportunity and transformation for children, families and our faculty.
We believe amazing things happen when we remove obstacles and meet every child exactly where they are. Our commitment is simple but radical: we will do whatever it takes to set the standard for excellence for kids and families.
Position Summary
ICS is seeking dedicated, energetic part-time Math Tutors to help students build strong math skills and confidence. Tutors will work with small groups and individual students to prepare them for New York State math assessments, close skill gaps and strengthen understanding of grade-level content. This is an ideal role for math education students and aspiring teachers who want meaningful experience in a supportive, co-taught school community.

Living "The Bar"
The bar is high, by design. Our work demands courage, integrity, conviction and an unwavering belief that we can and will change the trajectory for children and families. Every member of our team, including our tutors, helps hold that bar.

3. Modeling Collaboration and Coherence
Use the same language, models and strategies students see in their classrooms, and stay in close contact with their teachers.
4. Holding Ourselves and Each Other Accountable
Track student progress, use data to adjust tutoring, and own the results.
5. Building Schools Where Belonging Is Non-Negotiable
