Data Engineer – Remote (US Only)

Our team is small, collaborative, and fully remote, and engineers here own their work from design to production.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable batch and streaming data pipelines
- Develop and optimize data models in Snowflake
- Build and manage ETL/ELT workflows using Airflow and dbt
- Make data reliable through monitoring, testing, and data quality checks
- Work closely with analytics, ML, and product teams to deliver clean, usable datasets
- Improve pipeline performance and control cloud costs across the data platform
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering
- Strong SQL and Python skills
- Hands-on experience with AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, or similar)
- Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow or dbt
- Solid understanding of data modeling (star schema, dimensional modeling)
- Experience with distributed processing tools such as Spark
- Clear communication and comfort working in a remote team
Nice to Have
- Streaming data experience (Kafka or Kinesis)
- Infrastructure as code (Terraform)
- Experience supporting ML pipelines or feature stores
- Docker and CI/CD experience
Compensation & Benefits
- $80,000 – $100,000 per year, based on experience
