Role Description The Field Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Raipur. The Field Engineer will visit client locations to install, configure, and maintain IT infrastructure, including hardware, networking equipment, and related systems. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, providing hands-on technical support, and documenting work performed and solutions implemented. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams to manage field service requests, supporting small implementation projects, and ensuring timely resolution of client concerns. The Field Engineer will interact directly with clients, explain technical matters in accessible language, and contribute to continuous improvement of service processes.
Qualifications
Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills for hardware, networking, and basic software issues.
Experience in field service operations, including on-site installation, maintenance, and customer support.
Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and collaborating with internal teams.
Basic project management abilities to plan, prioritize, and follow up on service tasks and small implementation projects.
Relevant technical education (diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work independently in the field, manage travel within Raipur and nearby areas, and adapt to changing client needs.
Familiarity with common operating systems, networking fundamentals, and basic security best practices.
Valid authorization to work in India; prior experience in a similar field engineering or IT support role is an advantage.
