Role Description The Information Technology Business Analyst is a full-time remote role responsible for bridging business needs and technology solutions. Day-to-day activities include gathering and documenting business requirements, analyzing current business processes, and collaborating with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement. The role involves translating business objectives into clear functional specifications, working closely with IT teams to ensure solutions are feasible and aligned with organizational goals, and supporting testing and validation of new systems or enhancements. The Business Analyst will also assist in preparing reports, dashboards, and user documentation, and contribute to ongoing refinement of processes and practices to improve efficiency and outcomes.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, evaluate problems, and recommend effective solutions.
Candidates should possess Business Analysis and Business Requirements skills to gather, document, and prioritize stakeholder needs.
Candidates should possess Business Process skills to map, assess, and optimize workflows and operational procedures.
Candidates should possess Information Technology skills to understand systems, integrations, and technical constraints relevant to business solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience working with cross-functional teams, including technical and non-technical stakeholders, ideally in a remote environment.
Proficiency with common BA tools (e.g., requirements management tools, process modeling tools, spreadsheets, and collaboration platforms).
Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and structured way.
Experience with Agile or other software development methodologies is beneficial.
