SAP -PMO (Project/Program Mgr) with MES integration exp.

Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP PMO professional to drive governance, documentation, and structured reporting across SAP implementation, rollout, or support programs. The ideal candidate combines strong SAP program/project management expertise with excellent documentation, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills, along with the ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams effectively.
Exposure to the manuf.industry along with hands-on exposure to MES and SAP S/4HANA is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
• Establish and maintain PMO governance processes across SAP projects/programs (implementation, rollout, AMS/support).
• Prepare high-quality project documentation, including project charters, status reports, RAID logs, steering committee decks, and closure reports.
• Design and maintain structured reporting formats (weekly/monthly status reports, dashboards, KPIs, milestone trackers) for leadership and stakeholders.
• Create and deliver executive-level presentations for steering committees, sponsors, and senior management.
• Track project timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and issues; ensure timely escalation and mitigation.
• Coordinate with SAP functional/technical leads, project managers, and cross-functional teams to consolidate status updates.
• Facilitate project governance meetings, steering committee reviews, and stakeholder communications.
• Drive adherence to project management methodology (Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid) and organizational standards.
• Manage change control, scope management, and documentation repositories (SharePoint, Jira, MS Project, etc.).
• Mentor and guide junior PMO team members/analysts; allocate and review their deliverables.
• Support resource planning, onboarding/offboarding coordination, and team performance tracking.
• Identify process improvement opportunities within the PMO function.
Required Skills & Experience
• 8-10 years of overall SAP experience, with significant exposure to PMO/program management roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP project lifecycle (implementation, rollout, upgrade, or support projects).
• Excellent documentation skills - ability to create clear, structured, and audience-appropriate project artifacts.
• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Project (or equivalent tools like Jira, Smartsheet, Planview).
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior leadership and clients.
• Proven experience managing/coordinating cross-functional or geographically distributed teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with structured status reporting frameworks (RAG status, dashboards, KPI tracking).
• Familiarity with SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, or S/4HANA landscape) is a plus, though deep functional expertise is not mandatory.
• PMP/Prince2/SAP Activate certification preferred.
