Role Description The Director of Operations is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational activities across projects, teams, and client engagements. This position will lead operational planning, streamline processes, and ensure efficient delivery of web, mobile, and server-related services. The Director will manage cross-functional teams, set performance standards, and implement best practices to support quality, timelines, and customer satisfaction. They will monitor operational metrics, optimize resource allocation, and collaborate with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives. The role also involves improving customer service workflows, supporting risk management, and driving continuous improvement in operations and internal communication.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Operations Management skills, including process optimization and project coordination.
Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to interpret data, assess performance, and support decision-making.
Candidates should possess effective Team Management capabilities to lead, mentor, and develop distributed teams.
Candidates should possess Budgeting and financial oversight skills to manage costs, forecasts, and operational efficiency.
Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to maintain high client satisfaction and responsive communication.
Proven experience in a senior operations or leadership role within IT, software development, or related services.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate in a remote, multicultural environment.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort with using digital tools for project and workflow management.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Experience with technology service delivery, SLA management, and continuous improvement frameworks is an advantage.
