Role Description This is a full-time, on-site PHP Developer role based in Mumbai. The PHP Developer will build, maintain, and optimize server-side applications that power Volody’s AI-driven CLM platform, ensuring reliability, performance, and security. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, reusable PHP code, integrating front-end components with back-end logic, and working with databases and APIs to support new and existing features. The role involves collaborating with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver enhancements. The developer will also participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to maintain high development standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Back-End Web Development, focusing on PHP and related frameworks.
2-3 years experience only
Candidates should possess solid Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills, including designing and implementing modular, maintainable code.
Candidates should possess Front-End Development skills sufficient to integrate server-side logic with UI components (e.g., HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript).
Candidates should possess core Software Development skills, including version control (Git), debugging, and testing practices.
Candidates should possess Programming fundamentals, such as data structures, algorithms, and database concepts (SQL/NoSQL).
Relevant experience with RESTful APIs, security best practices, and performance optimization is beneficial.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, collaborate in cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly in English is required.
