Role Description This part-time remote Health Specialist role at América de Natal SAF focuses on supporting the health and well-being of individuals associated with the organization, including staff and athletes. The Health Specialist will conduct virtual health assessments, provide guidance on preventive care, and support occupational health initiatives tailored to a sports-focused environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include offering evidence-based health promotion advice, coordinating follow-up care with medical professionals when needed, documenting health interactions, and maintaining accurate and confidential records. The role also involves responding to health-related inquiries, delivering clear information about wellness programs, and collaborating with internal teams to align health initiatives with organizational goals.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively interact with diverse individuals and provide responsive support.
Candidates should possess expertise in Occupational Health to address work-related health risks, promote safe practices, and support compliance with relevant standards.
Candidates should possess a background in Medicine to interpret basic health information, recognize potential risks, and coordinate with healthcare providers as appropriate.
Candidates should possess Health Promotion skills to design and deliver wellness guidance, preventive care initiatives, and lifestyle education.
Relevant qualifications such as a degree in health sciences, nursing, medicine, or a related field, and prior experience in telehealth or remote health services are beneficial.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage sensitive information with confidentiality, and use digital tools for communication and documentation is expected.
