A Tech Company in San Diego County is looking to bring on a Mobile App Developer (React Native/Kotlin) Internship for this semester.
Candidate must be in PST or Central Time Zone
Job Location: Remote
Compensation: $1
Responsibilities:
A Mobile App Developer (React Native) designs, builds, and maintains cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android. They focus on creating seamless, high-performance mobile experiences and are responsible for the full app development lifecycle.
Design: Create mobile app architectures, reusable component structures, and user interfaces
Develop: Write clean, efficient code using React Native, integrate APIs, and enhance existing applications
Test: Conduct QA testing, debug issues, and optimize app performance across devices
Deploy: Assist with publishing applications to testing environments, the Apple App Store, and Google Play Store
Maintain: Ensure app stability, scalability, and manage technical debt
Communicate: Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product teams
Mentor: Support and guide junior developers when applicable
Skills:
Proficiency in React Native and JavaScript/TypeScript
Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles
Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
Familiarity with state management tools (Redux, Context API, or similar)
Experience with mobile development tools (Expo, React Native CLI)
Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Native Testing Library) is a plus
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience (professional or project-based) in React Native development (Must Have)
Experience building and deploying mobile applications on iOS and/or Android
Experience integrating APIs and working with backend services
Familiarity with databases (Firebase, SQLite, or similar)
Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and work ethic
THIS IS A NON PAID INTERNSHIP FOR 3 MONTHS, AFTER 3 MONTHS YOU CAN BE CONVERTED TO EITHER FULL TIME/PART TIME
