Role Description The Project Manager will oversee end-to-end project execution for on-site construction activities in Kolkata. This full-time role includes planning project timelines, coordinating resources, managing budgets, and monitoring progress to ensure work is completed according to specifications, safety standards, and contractual requirements. The Project Manager will supervise on-site teams, collaborate with expeditors, inspectors, and logistics personnel, and resolve operational issues that may affect schedule or quality. The role involves regular reporting to senior management and clients, risk assessment, and implementing corrective actions where needed. The Project Manager will also foster effective communication among stakeholders, maintain documentation, and support continuous improvement in project delivery processes.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong project management skills, including Project Management and experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
Candidates should possess expediting-related skills, such as Expeditor and Expediting, to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Candidates should possess quality and compliance skills, including Inspection experience for construction and infrastructure projects.
Candidates should possess logistics-related skills, such as Logistics Management, for handling materials, equipment, and site operations.
Candidates should have proven experience in construction or infrastructure project delivery, preferably in high-rise or large-scale projects.
Candidates should have strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, with attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
Candidates should have effective communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to present project status and negotiate solutions.
A bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP or equivalent) are an advantage.
