Scrum Master

Role Overview:
We are looking for a motivated Junior Scrum Master to support agile development teams and facilitate effective Scrum practices within the organization. The role involves assisting Scrum teams in following agile principles, coordinating Scrum ceremonies, tracking progress, removing impediments, and promoting collaboration and continuous improvement.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Assist in facilitating Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support Scrum teams in following Agile principles and Scrum practices.
• Assist with estimation activities, backlog management, and sprint planning.
• Identify and track impediments affecting team progress and coordinate resolution.
• Encourage collaboration, self-organization, and continuous improvement within teams.
• Support Product Owners and stakeholders in maintaining effective communication.
• Track team progress and maintain transparency through agile metrics.
• Assist senior Scrum Masters and agile teams in process improvement activities.
• Help resolve team conflicts and promote a positive working environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Basic understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of Scrum ceremonies, roles, and practices.
• Good facilitation and communication skills.
• Understanding of servant leadership and team collaboration.
• Basic coaching and mentoring abilities.
• Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to manage time, priorities, and project risks.
• Understanding of agile metrics and transparency practices.
• Good adaptability, emotional intelligence, and stakeholder management skills.
Education & Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Management, or related field. Scrum Master certification such as CSM, PSM, or equivalent is preferred.
