A well-known banking client is currently looking for creative and talented Senior and Principal Java Developers on a permanent contract.

development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks and tools.
ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimised for performance
contribute to design, tests and implementation of an enterprise, greenfield projects
create solutions, advise and manage risks based on sophisticated analytical thought, comparing and selecting complex alternatives.
no on-call or working in other (than Czech) time zones

EU citizenship/Czech blue card is mandatory
Relocation package for candidates holding an EU passport!
Ideal skills needed:
The most important - Java programming (8+ years) with knowledge of Spring & Spring Boot
Multi-threading, performance tuning, experience designing and implementing microservice architecture
Standard development and build tools, e.g. GIT, TeamCity, etc., as well as extensive experience with DevOps culture and principles
Experience designing and developing REST APIs
Knowledge of Kafka, GraphQL, and cloud infrastructure principles
Containerisation, e.g. Docker, Kubernetes
Developers must understand:
latency & performance engineering
memory models, data representation
how computation threads map to CPU cores
concurrency & multithreading at depth
