About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), intelligent agents, and modern AI infrastructure within the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering expertise with hands-on experience building production-grade AI systems.
Responsibilities
Design and develop LLM-powered applications and intelligent agent systems.
Build reliable AI workflows, RAG pipelines, and tool-using agents.
Integrate LLMs with healthcare applications, APIs, databases, and enterprise systems.
Develop scalable and secure AI services for production environments.
Evaluate model performance, accuracy, reliability, and cost.
Implement prompt engineering, model evaluation, guardrails, and monitoring.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and healthcare teams to translate requirements into AI solutions.
Ensure AI applications follow healthcare privacy, security, and compliance requirements.
Optimize AI systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Stay current with emerging LLM, agentic AI, and generative AI technologies.
Qualifications
5+ years of professional software/AI engineering experience.
Strong experience with Python and modern AI/ML frameworks.
Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and AI agents.
Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, or comparable LLM platforms.
Strong knowledge of APIs, microservices, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
Experience deploying AI systems in production environments.
Healthcare technology experience is strongly preferred.
Understanding of HIPAA, healthcare data privacy, and security requirements is a plus.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills.
