Role Description The Merchandiser will manage the end-to-end merchandising process, including product selection, sampling, and coordination with production teams to ensure timely delivery. Responsibilities include analyzing market trends, preparing product assortments, maintaining accurate item and order data, and collaborating with sales and marketing to create appealing collections. The role involves frequent communication with customers and buyers to handle inquiries, share product information, and support order follow-up. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jodhpur, requiring regular interaction with the showroom, warehouse, and production units to ensure product quality and availability.
Qualifications
Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with buyers, suppliers, and internal teams.
Experience in Sales and Retail environments to manage assortments, pricing, and order handling.
Knowledge of Marketing practices to support product positioning, promotions, and visual presentation.
Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing samples, product data, and documentation.
Ability to work on-site in Jodhpur and coordinate with production and warehouse teams.
Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., spreadsheets, email) and familiarity with merchandising or inventory tools.
Prior experience in handicrafts, home décor, or consumer goods is an advantage.
Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Fashion, Retail Management, or a related field preferred.
