Senior .NET Developer

Senior .NET Developer | Healthcare
We are looking for a Senior .NET Developer with strong hands-on development experience and a background working with healthcare systems and data. This person will work across the full development lifecycle, with a particular focus on applications involving claims, member, and provider data. The ideal candidate has deep experience with C#/.NET, SQL Server, and SSIS, along with the ability to lead technically, mentor other developers, and collaborate effectively within a Scrum environment.
What You'll Be Doing
Design, develop, and maintain complex web applications and software solutions using C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, MVC, and related Microsoft technologies
Work with healthcare data and systems, including claims processing, member/provider data, and EDI 837 submissions
Develop and optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and database processes
Build and maintain SSIS packages for ETL and data integration
Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, QA, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Lead and mentor developers while promoting strong coding standards and development best practices
Participate in Scrum ceremonies and support the team throughout the development lifecycle
Identify opportunities to improve application performance, development processes, and overall technical quality
Ensure solutions meet appropriate quality, security, and industry standards
Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers
What We're Looking For
7+ years of professional software development experience
Strong hands-on experience with:
C# / .NET / .NET Core
ASP.NET
MVC
SQL Server
Entity Framework
Microsoft SSIS
Angular
VB.NET
Strong experience developing web applications
Healthcare technology experience, specifically working with claims, member and provider data
Experience with EDI 837 healthcare transactions
Strong SQL skills, including queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization
Experience with ETL and data integration using SSIS
Experience mentoring and supporting other software developers
Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative Agile/Scrum team
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Growth mindset with an interest in continuous improvement and developing others
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
7+ years of relevant professional software development experience
