SPARK Center of Excellence
About Tigerlily Foundation
Tigerlily Foundation is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to educating, empowering, advocating for, and supporting women before, during, and after breast cancer. Through patient support programs, health equity initiatives, advocacy efforts, and strategic partnerships, Tigerlily works to eliminate disparities in breast cancer outcomes, particularly among women of color.
The Opportunity
Help turn clinical-trial education into clearer pathways to information, referrals, and support. The Clinical Trials Project Manager manages the day-to-day execution of approved initiatives within Tigerlily’s SPARK Center of Excellence, coordinating projects, participant follow-up, partner deliverables, educational resources, and clinical-trial components of organizational events.
This hands-on role is well suited to an organized project manager who builds strong working relationships, follows through on details, and cares about equitable access. Working under CEO direction and established project management standards, you will translate approved priorities into practical work plans, resolve routine operational issues, and recommend improvements based on community feedback and program data.
Key Responsibilities
Manage assigned SPARK projects from planning through closeout, tracking milestones, owners, deadlines, dependencies, and deliverables in Monday.com and other approved tools.
Coordinate program administration, including calendars, meetings, agendas, decision records, action items, files, contact lists, and approval trackers; route contracts, invoices, and purchase requests to authorized owners.
Coordinate approved Clinical Trial Match, interest collection, matching, referral, and follow-up workflows with community members and authorized research, healthcare, and navigation partners. Track inquiries, next steps, unresolved items, and access barriers.
Serve as the operational contact for assigned sponsor and research partner activities, coordinating meetings, tracking approved commitments, and supporting timely reporting.
Coordinate the clinical-trial component of approved events with host teams and other departments, including materials, partner readiness, assigned contributors, approved data collection, and post-event follow-up.
Coordinate development, qualified review, approval, distribution, and maintenance of educational resources, including Make It Make Sense, Clinical Trial Match, toolkits, newsletters, website content, and resource library materials.
Maintain accurate project and program records in approved systems, including SharePoint. Prepare weekly updates and periodic summaries of progress, referrals, follow-up, resource reach, partner deliverables, risks, and decisions needed.
Follow approved privacy, confidentiality, consent, security, and records practices; promptly escalate participant-safety, compliance, delivery, and data concerns to designated owners.
Identify workload conflicts, unclear ownership, and resource needs; recommend practical improvements and maintain procedures, handoff materials, and continuity records.
This role coordinates education and access pathways. It does not provide medical advice, determine clinical-trial eligibility, or conduct formal screening, informed consent, or enrollment. Those responsibilities remain with authorized clinical or research professionals. Strategy, staffing, funding, and material external commitments remain subject to leadership approval.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in public health, health administration, life sciences, nonprofit management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
At least three years of relevant program or project experience managing timelines, stakeholder coordination, documentation, and reporting.
Working knowledge of clinical-trial education, referral pathways, or community health access, including clinical and compliance boundaries.
Strong organizational, written and verbal communication, relationship coordination, and data accuracy skills, with sound participant-centered judgment.
Ability to prioritize competing demands, identify risks, and coordinate initiatives involving multiple stakeholders within established authority.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and collaborative project management tools, with the ability to learn Monday.com and SharePoint.
Preferred experience includes oncology, breast cancer, women’s health, health equity, patient navigation, or advocacy; clinical-trial access or research partnerships; work with historically underserved communities; nonprofit sponsor or grant reporting; and developing procedures and using program data and feedback to improve workflows.
How We Work
