Identity Management Consultant – Azure AD B2C / Entra External ID
We’re looking for a hands-on Identity Management Consultant to support and enhance an existing Microsoft Azure AD B2C customer identity environment, while helping evaluate and potentially execute a future migration to Microsoft Entra External ID.
This role supports customer-facing login, registration, loyalty, ecommerce, and identity integrations. The ideal candidate has direct Azure AD B2C/CIAM experience and can independently troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance a production identity platform.
What You’ll Do
Maintain and troubleshoot the existing Azure AD B2C environment
Configure user flows, custom policies, authentication rules, and login/registration workflows
Support APIs and integrations across ecommerce, loyalty, customer data, and enterprise systems
Implement new identity functionality as business needs evolve
Assess and help plan a future migration to Microsoft Entra External ID
Document the environment and help transition knowledge from the current vendor
What We’re Looking For
Hands-on Azure AD B2C experience
Strong CIAM/customer identity background
Experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, tokens, claims, user flows, and custom policies
API and enterprise application integration experience
Strong troubleshooting and systems engineering skills
Microsoft Entra External ID experience is highly preferred
Important: This is a customer identity/CIAM position. General Azure infrastructure or workforce Entra ID experience alone will not be sufficient.
The projected hourly range for this position is $60 to $65.
