What You’ll Do
As a Sr. Manager, Software Engineering, you will:
Promote Innovation and Collaboration: Develop and maintain an environment that fosters innovation and collaboration across teams and departments, ensuring high standards in product effectiveness and quality.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with company leaders to develop long-term business plans and drive department strategies that align with company goals.
Relationship Building: Build relationships with aligned leaders to drive collaboration, trust, and coordination on projects and processes.
Efficiency and Standardization: Collaborate with technology leaders to champion efforts for reuse, standardization, and efficiency by implementing streamlined processes and procedures.
Team Development: Lead the recruitment, hiring, and training of staff, focusing on building a strong team skilled in developing high-quality, performant software.
Architectural Partnership: Partner with teams, architects, and other technical leaders on application architecture, ensuring adherence to enterprise architecture strategies.
Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentoring for development teams, staying engaged with team metrics and project progress, and understanding high-level architecture and deployment pipelines.
Technical Roadmap: Work with development teams to develop a technical roadmap for products, collaborating with operational and strategic counterparts to ensure proactive measures for product health and technological advancements.
