Hiring: DB2 Administrator / DB2 Engineer with Azure
📍 Locations: Pune, Chennai, Bangalore
💼 Experience: 6-10 Years
📅 Notice Period: 60-90 Days
We are seeking a skilled DB2 Engineer/Administrator with experience in IBM DB2 Database Administration and Microsoft Azure Cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and supporting enterprise database environments while contributing to cloud modernization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, administer, and support IBM DB2 databases in production and non-production environments.
Monitor database performance, availability, and capacity planning.
Perform database tuning, query optimization, and performance troubleshooting.
Manage backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery strategies.
Support database migration and modernization projects to Azure.
Implement database security, access controls, and compliance standards.
Automate routine database administration tasks using scripting tools.
Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and cloud teams to ensure seamless operations.
Troubleshoot database incidents and provide production support.
Maintain database documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
