Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Network Engineer role based in Kozhikode. The Network Engineer will design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks. Daily responsibilities include monitoring network performance, diagnosing issues, and performing troubleshooting to ensure high availability and reliability. The role involves applying network security best practices, managing access controls, and supporting updates, patches, and backups. The Network Engineer will also document configurations, collaborate with other IT team members, and provide technical support to internal users and clients.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Network Engineering and Network Design to plan, configure, and optimize network architectures.
Candidates should possess solid Network Administration skills, including managing devices, user access, and network services.
Candidates should possess advanced Troubleshooting skills to identify, analyze, and resolve network issues efficiently.
Candidates should possess practical experience in Network Security, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion prevention, and security policies.
Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Network+, or similar credentials are highly beneficial.
Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
Experience with monitoring tools, documentation best practices, and adherence to industry standards is an advantage.
