We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and scale the core services powering a fast-growing B2B marketplace. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance APIs and highly reliable system architectures.
🧩 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂'𝗹𝗹 𝗗𝗼
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable backend services and APIs.
Own backend features from technical design through development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
Build systems that support marketplace, commerce, payments, inventory, and other core business workflows.
Optimize application performance, database queries, and system reliability as the platform scales.
Develop and maintain integrations with third-party services and external APIs.
Contribute to architectural decisions and improve backend engineering practices.
Write clean, maintainable, well-tested, and production-ready code.
Collaborate with product, frontend, and other engineering teams to deliver end-to-end features.
✅ 𝗬𝗼𝘂'𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗙𝗶𝘁 𝗜𝗳 𝗬𝗼𝘂
4–5 years of hands-on backend engineering experience.
Strong proficiency in Python, Node.js, Java, or a similar backend language.
Strong experience building RESTful APIs and backend services.
Solid understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL and database design.
Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, performance, and reliability.
