About The Role
The role builds and maintains the native mobile applications that serve as the primary touchpoint for millions of users - shipping features across iOS and Android with a focus on performance, reliability, and user experience.
You will work within a cross-functional product squad alongside backend engineers, designers, and product managers, owning mobile architecture decisions from feature design through release and monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and ship user-facing features in Kotlin (Android) and Swift (iOS), owning delivery from spec to production release
Architect and maintain shared business logic across platforms, evaluating cross-platform solutions (Kotlin Multiplatform, React Native, or Flutter) where appropriate
Integrate with REST and GraphQL APIs, handling offline-first behavior, caching strategies, and graceful degradation under poor network conditions
Instrument applications for observability: crash reporting, performance monitoring (Firebase, Sentry, or Datadog RUM), and release health dashboards
Own mobile CI/CD pipelines - automated builds, testing, staged rollouts, and feature flag management via Fastlane, Bitrise, or GitHub Actions
Drive app quality through unit, integration, and UI testing (XCTest, Espresso, Compose Testing), maintaining high coverage on critical user flows
Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and quarterly platform roadmap planning; mentor engineers on mobile best practices
What We Are Looking For
3–6 years of mobile engineering experience with at least 2 years of production experience in Kotlin or Swift
Deep understanding of modern Android (Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Hilt) or iOS (SwiftUI, Combine, Swift Concurrency) development
Experience shipping apps through the App Store and Google Play release processes, including review cycles and phased rollouts
Solid grasp of mobile architecture patterns: MVVM, MVI, modularization, and dependency injection
Hands-on experience with API integration, local persistence (Room, Core Data, SQLite), and background processing constraints on mobile platforms
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
Bonus: Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform, mobile DevOps tooling, app performance profiling (Instruments, Android Profiler), or prior work on apps with 1M+ MAU
