Facility Manager - Corporate Campuses
A facilities-management company servicing corporate campuses, with a contract portfolio that has doubled in three years
Location: Remote (India)
This is an integrated facilities business that runs soft and hard services for technology and banking tenants on large office campuses. It has partnered with Flexiple to hire a Facility Manager who will be the single accountable person for one anchor campus of roughly 1.2 million square feet, with a team of supervisors and around 180 outsourced staff reporting in.
The campus you will run
The client expects the building to simply work: lifts, chillers, DG sets, UPS rooms, cafeterias, housekeeping and security all running to the contracted SLA, with nothing escalating to their real-estate head. The Facility Manager owns that outcome and the monthly review that measures it.
A normal week on site
Daily walk-rounds with the shift engineer and housekeeping supervisor, closing snags the same day
Planned preventive maintenance calendars for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire and BMS, tracked in the CAFM tool
Monthly SLA and KPI reporting to the client, with root-cause notes on every breach
Statutory compliance: fire NOC renewals, lift licences, DG and pollution board consents, PCB returns
Mock drills, permit-to-work, and contractor safety inductions
Vendors, budgets and the contract
Manage specialist AMC vendors for chillers, lifts, fire systems and STP or WTP plants
Hold the site opex budget, raise variations, and keep consumables and spares within plan
Plan manpower deployment, rosters and minimum wage compliance with the HR team
Lead energy-saving and water-saving initiatives the client can see on the utility bill
Background that tends to work
8 to 12 years in facility management, with at least 3 years as the site lead for a large commercial or IT campus
Engineering degree or diploma, electrical or mechanical preferred
Working knowledge of MEP systems, BMS, and Indian fire and electrical safety norms
Comfort facing a demanding client in a monthly governance review
Nice to have
IFMA, BIFM or IOSH certification
Experience transitioning a site from another FM provider
Exposure to IGBC or LEED operations
Why the role is worth it
Sole charge of a marquee campus, with a clear path to cluster manager
Backing from a central engineering and procurement team
Long-term role with predictable, structured shifts for your team
