More specifically, you will:
Deliver safe, high-quality radiation therapy treatment to patients, ensuring a positive and supportive experience throughout their care.
Undertake radiation therapy duties, ensuring safe and accurate delivery in accordance with established clinical protocols and procedures.
Work collaboratively with Radiation Oncologists, Medical Physicists and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the ongoing development of clinical services.
Share your knowledge and experience with junior Radiation Therapists and graduates, contributing to a supportive and collaborative team environment.
We're looking for someone who has:
A recognised qualification in Radiation Therapy and current registration with AHPRA.
A minimum of 2 years' clinical experience as a Radiation Therapist, delivering radiation therapy treatments.
Sound knowledge of radiation therapy treatment techniques, planning and quality assurance processes.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-centred approach.
The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
A commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety and continuous professional development.
