Key Responsibilities
Manage procurement of automotive components, mechanical parts and raw materials.
Identify, evaluate and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
Negotiate prices, payment terms and delivery schedules.
Compare supplier quotations and select cost-effective sourcing options.
Prepare and process purchase orders and ensure timely material delivery.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores and Engineering teams.
Review BOMs and engineering drawings to understand material requirements.
Maintain vendor records, purchase documentation and procurement reports.
Monitor supplier performance, material availability and delivery timelines.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and procurement optimization.
