Role Summary
We are looking for an electronics engineer who can own the electrical and communications backbone of our UAV platforms, from power distribution and battery management to RF links, telemetry, video and payload data, onboard networking and secure communications. You will design, integrate, test and field-support systems used in demanding operational environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and validate power distribution architectures and battery management systems for multirotor and fixed-wing UAVs.
• Develop and integrate communication, telemetry, and video and payload data links, including link-budget planning and range optimisation.
• Design onboard networking and carry out end-to-end system integration of avionics, payloads and ground control systems.
• Carry out RF engineering and antenna design, selection, placement and testing.
• Implement communication security and resilience measures, including encryption, anti-jamming and fail-safe link behaviour.
• Run bench, ground and flight tests; analyse data; troubleshoot and resolve electronics and RF issues in the field.
• Prepare schematics, wiring harness documentation, test reports and technical SOPs.
• Support demonstrations, customer trials and deployments across India and, when required, overseas.

The candidate must be well versed in all of the following areas, with project experience in each:
1. Power distribution

3. Communications and telemetry systems
4. Video and payload data transmission
5. Onboard networking and system integration
6. RF engineering and antenna design
7. Communication security and resilience
Qualifications and Experience
• B.E./B.Tech (or higher) in Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electrical, Instrumentation or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in UAV, avionics, RF or embedded electronics.
• Proven, hands-on involvement in projects covering the seven areas listed above.
• Proficiency with schematic and PCB tools, RF test equipment (spectrum analyser, VNA, power meters) and standard lab instruments.
• Good documentation and communication skills; able to work independently and in a team.
