ROLE CONTEXT
Vedanta Zinc International (VZI) operates two major mining complexes
in the Northern Cape:
We are
seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Mine Planning Engineer to
join our Mining Technical Services team. The successful candidate will be
responsible for developing and optimizing short-term, medium-term, and
long-term mine plans that support safe, efficient, and profitable mining
operations.
PURPOSE OF
THE ROLE
The role
requires strong analytical capabilities, expertise in mine planning software,
and the ability to develop Life of Mine (LoM) strategies that align with
business objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and maintain
short-term, medium-term, and long-term mine plans and production schedules.
