The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Transfer Agency Specialist to oversee investor account administration, fund subscriptions and redemptions, investor recordkeeping, and transfer agency operations. The successful candidate will ensure accurate transaction processing, timely investor servicing, and compliance with applicable fund procedures, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
Process and validate investor subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, and account amendments.
Review investor applications, identification documents, and supporting records for completeness and accuracy.
Coordinate investor onboarding and ongoing due diligence in collaboration with Compliance and relevant stakeholders.
Maintain accurate investor registers, account balances, transaction histories, and ownership records.
Verify transaction instructions, applicable cut-off times, dealing dates, and settlement requirements.
Reconcile investor transactions, cash movements, and fund accounting records.
Coordinate with fund administrators, custodians, banks, and other service providers to resolve processing discrepancies.
Monitor transaction status and investigate delayed, rejected, incomplete, or unmatched instructions.
Support distribution processing, investor statements, capital activity reporting, and account confirmations.
Respond to investor inquiries regarding account details, transactions, documentation, and fund procedures.
Ensure investor data is handled securely and in accordance with confidentiality and data protection requirements.
Support compliance with applicable UAE requirements, fund documentation, and internal operating procedures.
Maintain transaction records, approval evidence, reconciliation schedules, and audit trails.
Prepare operational reports covering transaction volumes, processing timelines, exceptions, and outstanding cases.
Identify operational risks and recommend improvements to transaction controls and investor servicing workflows.
Support system upgrades, user acceptance testing, and automation of transfer agency processes.
Assist with internal audits, external audits, regulatory reviews, and control assessments.
Escalate suspicious instructions, unusual account activity, and material processing issues through established channels.
Provide guidance to junior team members and support consistent application of operational procedures.
Perform other transfer agency, investor servicing, fund operations, and reporting duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Relevant experience in transfer agency, fund administration, investor services, or investment operations.
Strong understanding of subscriptions, redemptions, investor registers, transaction settlement, and fund operations.
Familiarity with investor due diligence, AML/KYC procedures, and financial transaction controls.
Experience with reconciliation, transaction monitoring, and operational reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and fund administration or transfer agency systems.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
High standards of accuracy, integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.

Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS)
Relevant fund administration or investment operations certifications
