About The Role

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with an advanced degree being a plus. A minimum of 12 years of professional software development experience is required, demonstrating deep expertise in full-stack engineering and system/application architecture. Prior experience within securities, financial services, or modern engineering-focused organizations is highly desirable. Candidates should have strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, SQL, and designing RESTful and streaming APIs. Hands-on experience with cloud-native solutions, including microservices, containerization, and deployment patterns, is essential. Familiarity with NoSQL and distributed data stores, as well as leveraging AI-enabled capabilities such as GenAI or ML-driven services, will be advantageous. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate strong leadership qualities, the ability to adapt to evolving technologies, and a commitment to responsible and scalable AI integration.
Responsibilities

Utilize AI-enabled tools thoughtfully in design, coding, testing, review, and documentation processes, maintaining human oversight for high-risk decisions.
Develop software with a focus on reliability, incorporating secure coding practices, observability, testing, and disciplined deployment strategies.
Ensure production systems meet resiliency, performance, and operability standards, continuously monitoring and improving system health.
